The Delaware Vein Center under the direction of Dr. Henry Childers, offers innovative and comprehensive vein treatments for the elimination of venous insufficiency and its symptoms including varicose veins and spider veins. Dr. Henry Childers is a board certified cardiothoracic surgeon with nearly two decades of experience in vein disease and vein treatment.
Because of his past surgical experience, Dr. Childers is intimately familiar with the saphenous vein—the vein most likely to be involved in your vein treatment procedure. This specific training combined with his finely honed procedural skills ensures patients who receive our vein treatment receive successful and lasting results.
Dr. Childers attended Tufts University School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical School and Sloan Kettering Hospital, he completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. While Chief of cardiothoracic surgery and Chairman of the Department of Cardiac Medicine at Southern Ohio Medical Center, he developed the departments vein treatment center.
